Hiring! Political News Site Seeks Freelance Reporters
Occupy.com is a news site with national and global readership that is committed to shining a light on rising inequality, the influence of money in politics, and movements pressing for social, economic and environmental change. We're a voice for millennials who are interested, above all, in finding solutions to today's problems – from tackling college debt and climate change to addressing issues raised by Black Lives Matter and the Fight for $15.
We are hiring freelance correspondents to strengthen our pre-election coverage this summer, and we'd love to hear from students and practicing journalists who are interested in reporting. This isn't a "job offer" with a formal position opening up, but an invitation to regular paid freelance work for reporters who want to tell stories that move them. We pay rates competitive with other digital mainstream outlets. All queries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please briefly introduce yourself and send story pitches to Michael Levitin (email@example.com).
