Job Description

The Mainichi Newspapers (毎日新聞), a Japanese national daily newspaper, is looking to hire an intern to assist operation of its New York bureau.

Intern's duties include research on a wide range of topics, arranging interviews, transcription, tasks relating to office management, and assisting the bureau chief, sportswriter or United Nations correspondent in their duties as needed.

Intern would be expected in our Midtown East bureau 2 times a week from 10am to 6pm with a one hour lunch break. Internship is unpaid; Cost of transportation and lunch will be reimbursed.
