We scour the internet to bring the very best stories, videos and multimedia experiences to our audience. Movies, music, science, art, travel, real estate, fashion… RCL is a daily roundup of what’s interesting online for the intelligent, successful man. Having launched just a few months ago, RealClearLife offers interns the unique opportunity to work alongside each and every member of our team, in all facets of our business. You will pitch stories on Day One, and write them up the next day. You will publish content on our social media channels, and work to engage our growing audience. You will sit in on strategy meetings, share your ideas, and help to execute upon new initiatives. You will, in short, learn the digital media business by actively participating and doing. RealClearLife interns will work a minimum 10 hours per week. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2016, with immediate start dates.

RealClearLife is looking for paid editorial and social media interns — smart, talented, and eager university students who want to work at a New York City media startup.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
· Curiosity, passion and thoughtfulness in equal parts. This is a position for self-starters and strivers
· Top-notch writing skills. An ability to craft concise, smart copy in short order
· A keen eye for, and a steady stream of stories — knowing what’s interesting, and how / where to find it on a regular basis
· A deep understanding and passion for social media. How to communicate with audiences on any number of social platforms, most importantly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills. We are a small and rapidly growing company which puts great value on collaboration and teamwork
· Creativity and confidence to share your unique perspective, ideas and very best work
REQUIREMENTS / NECESSARY SKILLS
· Applicants must be students in good standing with school.
· A commitment minimum of 8-16 hours per week, and 3 months.
