Social Media Manager Position

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to work in NYC - someone who can bring a unique social media background to the company with a strong emphasis in creating content and social media. We need someone who is creative, organized, hard working and knows how to manage all aspects of a project - someone who understands the zeitgeist and trends—and can translate the same in the appropriate social channel.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of all major social media platforms.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment where no two days are the same.
Attention to detail, resourceful, self-starter, team player.
Graphic design or video experience a plus, but not necessary.
Excellent client service, presentation and writing skills
Knowledge on keynote and able to build brand presentation.
Strong visual eye for quality content.

Overall Responsibilities:
Work with the social media team to creatively concept, build, and measure social marketing campaigns.
Manage day-to-day campaign deliverables
Creation of social media photo briefs, content calendars and scheduling for campaigns.
Assist with production team on photoshoots - creative direction and art direction.
Identify best in class social strategies, trends, and practices to develop innovative social campaigns using social advocates and influencers.
Work closely with our social analytics team and agency to produce social campaign reports and pull out learnings and highlights for leadership.
Assist with event activation on the ground at branded events and sponsorships.
Manage influencer/advocate integration into social media campaigns.
Lead creative direction and strategy for social media clients.
Communication with client - day to day emails and management.
