Company Description

Pentimento is currently in production on multiple feature-length documentaries. The company was founded by award-winning filmmaker Susan Lacy - she is most well known for creating the American Masters series on PBS.

Job Description

Intern would be crucial to both the production office and edit room - he/she would get to see how the production & post-production phases come together.

Intern would be communicating with key members of the team - producers, editor, director.

Specific tasks include
- Compiling research for upcoming shoots and interviews
- Organizing production transcripts
- Maintaining archive (including photos and videos)
- Various day-to-day tasks including mailings

Please note, this is not an "on-set" position. All work within the office.

Very hands-on; we're a small team which makes for a great learning experience.

Unpaid internship but we are happy to provide Metrocard stipend.

Must be able to work 2 full days per week - beginning in the next few weeks.
