Job Description

theGrio is seeking a talented producer to write scripts and conduct research for a daily video news show.

"The Download" is a 60-second Instagram-video series, with snippets of top news and trending stories.

Producer is responsible for writing daily scripts and pulling media assets.

Job pays $17 hourly and would consist of 1-1.5 hours on Monday-Thursday afternoons.

This job is remote but may lead to more freelance projects with larger scope.

Passion and knowledge of African-American news and culture is a must.

Candidate must possess strong writing voice and research skills.
