Pitching multimedia social campaigns that incorporate any number of native/external tools including live video, influencer partnerships, and emerging platforms
Tracking, compiling, and reviewing social analytics for quantifiable growth
Handling social media for Saveur live events, including regular #SaveurSuppers dinners with visiting chefs
The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following qualifications:
1-2 years of experience (flexible) managing social channels for a campus organization, publication, business, or nonprofit OR prior social media internship experience
Knowledge of a wide range of social platforms that includes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and preferably Pinterest and Snapchat
A demonstrated interest in food, drink, and travel and a passion for storytelling
Confidence working under hard deadlines and an ability to multi-task
Like many social media internships, this is one focuses heavily on learning the ins and outs of digital production, analytics, brand management, and everything else that goes into building and growing a dedicated social audience. Should you desire, you may have the opportunity to contribute content for saveur.com as well, and we always encourage pitches from our interns.
To apply, email email@example.com with your resume, a few words about yourself, any relevant social handles you currently manage or have managed in the past, and 140 characters telling us where to find the best sandwich in the world. If we’re interested we’ll get back to you quickly.
