Job Description
Are you passionate about Latin America? Are you entrepreneurial? Do you enjoy writing about important political, economic, and cultural topics for a large audience? If so, please apply for this unique paid internship for Americas Society and Council of the Americas (AS/COA) and its independent publication Americas Quarterly (AQ). Founded in 2008 and based in New York City, AQ is currently revamping its approach to appeal to a broader audience and evolve into the premier publication for politics, business, and culture in our hemisphere.
This is an exciting time to be here, with many opportunities for our interns to learn and grow with us. Your responsibilities will include: researching, writing, and editing for AQ’s print and online editions; working on AS/COA’s policy research and support team; attending meetings and interacting with AS/COA members; and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
