In 2017, the company doubled down on its commitment to original content, and since then, we've seen our work in top film festivals such as DOCNYC, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, BendFilm Festival and more.
Job Description
The documentary internship at Rota6 is an opportunity for young journalists, filmmakers and storytellers to research and pitch true stories to be produced for short documentary films.
Most recently, our film A Garbage Story won best short documentary at the Coney Island Film Fest and played at DOCNYC as an official selection. Our short film Richies was also an official selection at DOCNYC as well as BendFilm Festival and Rooftop Films, among others.
We're currently in pre-production on several projects and are constantly mining for new stories and will give interns room to be creative and pursue ideas they are passionate about.
