Job Description

The New York Post is looking for a talented Features Intern for the summer! This is a paid position: $15/hr.

Responsibilities

Must have finger on the pulse of social media and use those tools, as well as SEO data, to target trending features story ideas

Pitch story ideas to features editors on a weekly basis -- entertainment news, dating/relationships, health/fitness, fashion/beauty and timely lifestyle trends are all buckets of coverage the department is interested in

Report and write features stories as assigned by features editors

Assist other department writers and editors with additional research and reporting

Help build and produce web stories as needed

Qualifications

Must have great news judgment.

The ability to work independently.

A passion for anything news related!
