This role will serve as the Guest Booker for all internally produced podcasts at VentureFuel. This includes working closely with podcast producers to understand a show’s needs and scheduling, a show’s desired guest list, and delivering a diverse slate of guests.

This position reports directly to the senior managing producer, the company's VP of growth.

A podcast guest booker's responsibilities include:
Managing bookings: Booking guests for internally produced shows, including themed episodes, special episodes, and multiple-guest episodes
Communicating with producers: Working with producers to understand their show's needs, including scheduling, timing, and promotional dates
Researching guests: Pursuing a show's dream guest list while also prioritizing diversity
Contributing ideas: Providing fresh ideas for guests to keep content unique
Tracking talent releases: Helping producers receive, track, and archive talent releases
Maintaining databases: Maintaining guest databases for each show along with producers
Providing updates: Providing weekly booking updates to senior managing producers
Reviewing pitches: Reviewing and receiving guest pitches with producers
A podcast guest booker may also be responsible for:
Being aware of opportunities for hosts to guest on other outlets
Ensuring shows are booked far in advance

Pay: $25/hour
