CHANNEL NYC is a multi-channel streaming video entertainment & information content platform. It will be providing City-related Video Entertainment Content and Local Area Consumer Services Information for New York City's residents and its visitors.

Job Description

Channel NYC, a New York-based streaming broadcast entertainment and information platform, is seeking interns for a variety of roles in our growing online streaming business.

Responsibilities include shooting and editing video, story development, social media development, researching of competitors, audience trends and posting and working with our technical and operations teams in various roles.

The internship will involve a rotation in all of the departments listed above. This will give the intern experience in all aspects of the business and contribute to their growth and experience.

On Location, Remote and WFH Assignments & Assisting with Content production, Video editing throughout all five boroughs

Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) Adobe Premiere or other similar video editing software programs, Google Analytics, Semrush, VidIQ, SocialBlade, GrowView, Canva. Some knowledge of YouTube & YouTube Shorts is a plus. Understanding of and use of AI is preferred but not required.

Comfortable with, and possess the ability to multitask and/or work on multiple projects
Projects include: Content Production, Content Features, Storylines, Social media trends and topics relevant to New York City’s diverse population and cultures.

Possible On Camera and Voiceover work. Successful completion of Internship program may lead to potential offer of full or part time employment

MUST BE RELIABLE. Available to work any combination of days, Mon-Sat, occasional Sundays, 10am-4pm, Minimum 12 hrs, maximum 20 hrs/wk

Flexible scheduling available
Compensation: $20/hr.
