Job Description

We are launching a new initiative that combines journalism, media, and science communication to highlight science in ways that create real impact for communities. We’re seeking a graduate student contributor who is creative, independent, and eager to help shape a new voice in this space.

The role is ideal for an innovative student interested in combining writing, research, and media production with science storytelling. Entrepreneurial thinkers are especially appreciated—this is a chance to get in on the ground floor of a project with growth potential.

Responsibilities include:
- Researching and drafting short features or story elements
- Supporting newsletter development and audience engagement strategies
- Contributing ideas on format, design, or new approaches

This is a part-time paid position (5–10 hrs/week for $20 hour, starting), with room to grow as the project develops.
