The Center for Responsive Politics is the nation's premier research and reporting group tracking money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy. Nonpartisan, independent and nonprofit, the organization aims to create a more educated voter, an involved citizenry and a more transparent and responsive government.
The Center for Responsive Politics (OpenSecrets.org) is hiring for two news reporting internship positions this summer. Selected interns will work in Washington, D.C., for 12-14 weeks covering political influence issues for OpenSecrets.org, the website of the nonpartisan, nonprofit Center.
Interns can either receive a $1,000 stipend plus weekly transportation compensation OR can opt to receive academic credit. Applications are due by Feb. 1.
