Paid Journalism Internship
Media Organization: Dow Jones
FINS.com is a new career site in the digital network of the world's leading business publication, The Wall Street Journal. FINS is a daily online resource for finance, technology and sales and marketing professionals, combining great job listings with career-oriented industry news, company profiles and employment advice.
FINS.com, a new career-focused site from The Wall Street Journal, is looking for an editorial FINtern to start in late February. It's an exciting place within Dow Jones and feels more like a web startup than a large media organization -- but with the clout and resources of a large media organization. This is a paid internship. Duties would include:
- Light copy editing/proofreading
- Website CMS work
- Some writing with byline
- Social media outreach
- Editorial planning and strategy
The intern would be working closely with the editor and managing editor of the site as well as the other reporters.
Other perks include:
- Assistance on pitching The Wall Street Journal and associated properties
- Intern wage
- Work in a flexible office environment
