Job Description

Photo Internship
Location: New York, NY

We are seeking detail oriented, responsible candidates with a background/interest in online media/photography. This internship is a perfect place to learn research and photo editing skills plus observe how a digital media website operates.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the process of fulfilling photo requests along with senior editors. Partner with the senior photo team to learn how to research and write captions for photo galleries. Learn how to communicate effectively with reporters and editors to determine optimal photographic online content and photo opportunities. Practice archiving and cataloging photos. Learn how to react under deadlines and changing priorities while training alongside the editorial team.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a great eye for compelling photos and are resourceful, creative, and able to learn quickly. Knowledge of Photoshop and computer savvy is a must. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding/interest in current events.

This is an internship for credit. All applicants must be currently enrolled in degree granting program and receive college credit for the internship. Additionally, credit certification proof must be provided during the interview process.
