Job Description

Why You Are Awesome:
o You have a strong understanding of content and the digital landscape.
o You can represent the company to artists, advertisers and partners.
o You are comfortable managing editors, interns and freelance writers.
o You can produce content from press releases, photos and videos.
Being Awesome Together:
o You will be in charge of setting the tone for the site and working on the editorial plan from week to week
o You will collaborate with a worldwide team (including FatCap.org in French), and find support from all 4 corners of the globe.
o You will cover street-art and graffiti events: exhibitions, festivals, corporate events, etc.
o You will manage the relationship with our community (first and foremost the artists), helping to build a one-to-one relationship with our top 200-premium artists worldwide
Being Awesome Together:

The Necessities
o Strong writing, oral and interpersonal skills
o Organized, you know how to deal with deadlines
o Proven ability to manage a team of writers.
o Natural self-starter, to work independently and remotely
o A passion (and ideally a real gift) for writing
o An interest in the arts, especially the urban kind
o Deep knowledge of web publishing
The Extras
o Take the lead on new business development and partnerships that help build our brand
o Proficient in photography and / or video producing and editing
o Comfortable and creative using our Twitter, Facebook, & Marketing Newsletter platforms.
o Collaborate with our other agencies for advertising opportunities
o Live in the greater New York Area with ability to travel preferred
