Job Description

Surface magazine, a New York-based architecture, design, and fashion bi-monthly, is seeking a bright undergraduate or graduate student with good research, reporting, and writing skills. A strong background in editing and/or writing is required; journalism and English majors are preferred. A knowledge of--or, at least, passion for--architecture and design is a plus, as is an interest in magazines. The position is unpaid and the intern is expected to work two to three days a week. Must be able to receive school credit. Some flexibility is possible to accommodate holidays and class schedules. Location is our office in New York.
