Job Description

The Knot is looking for spring interns to work on our magazines and websites. You will research stories, interview experts, work with the photo/art department, write sidebars or even entire bylined features, depending on your talent and drive. Administrative tasks will be a big part of your job as well. You will likely have additional opportunities to blog, tweet, and produce slideshows for our online brands (including TheKnot.com, WeddingChannel.com, TheNest.com, and TheBump.com).

You need to be tech- and Internet-savvy, a strong writer, able to handle multiple tasks, reliable, organized, and not afraid to ask questions. You should also be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe InCopy and Photoshop are helpful but not necessary. An interest in weddings, decor, cooking, travel, and/or babies is a plus. Applicants with magazine/website internship experience or college journalism experience are highly preferred. Undergraduate emphasis in journalism, English, or communications is a plus but not required. You must be able to receive course credit. A small stipend will be provided.
