Job Description

A rapidly growing internet media company is looking for a few good finance reporters / comedy writers for a New York centric Daily Show-style news site. In The Empire will be taking a look at Wall Street, financial regulation (or lack thereof), the squeezing of the middle class in NYC, education, Mayor Bloomberg, entrepreneurs, and lessons from the 1%.

In The Empire is a reformist minded news site with a funny/satirical, smart, empowering tone. Desired candidates are tenacious fact-checkers, funny, creative, and driven by community empowerment.
