Job Description
Do you love working out, sports, food, outdoors, tech, and pop culture? Do you want an internship that provides real-world magazine experience and will allow you to have a lot of fun while learning what it takes to put a magazine together?
Men's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, and Flex magazines are looking for upbeat, hard-working, ambitious editorial interns for the fall and spring semesters. This is not your standard filing and coffee-grabbing internship. Our interns become an integral part of our staff. You'll write and pitch stories, do interviews and research-everything full-time editors do. And when you leave the magazine, you'll have bylines and a wealth of experience to take to your first full-time job.
Applicants must be available to work at least two a week in our editorial offices (near Wall Street). Positions are unpaid and do require some more traditional intern duties as well, including transcribing interviews and research.
To Apply
To apply, e-mail Sunil Ramsamooj (Sramsamooj@mensfitness.com) with the subject "Editorial intern." Please include a résumé, clips, and a description of what makes you an ideal intern candidate.
