Job Description

We’re seeking aspiring sports journalists and editors who have a passion for working in the football industry. Participants will receive hands-on experience in the new age of sports reporting, with an option to earn full or partial credit for their work.

Interns will work with our team of veteran on-line journalists to hone their skills while writing about topics they enjoy – both original pieces and assigned. They will receive honest feedback on their work from FN supervisors, and also the FN community. Some interns may have the opportunity to serve as editor to content that flows into the FN system.

Upon completion of the program, the intern will have built a solid portfolio of work to add to their resume. Many of our previous interns have decided to stay on board the FN team as a regular contributor with the goal of achieving paid employment status with Football Nation.
