Description:
Learn the inner workings of a major health website! We're looking for a sharp graduate-level student or recent college graduate to join us in maintaining and improving the world's most comprehensive online HIV/AIDS resource. Responsibilities will vary depending on your skill set, but are likely to include keeping the site up to date, copyediting, proofreading, corresponding with the HIV/AIDS community, fact-checking, conducting background research, data entry and reporting/writing articles.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate would be someone who is extremely detail oriented, has editorial/writing experience (especially on issues related to health and social justice) and is comfortable with computers (Microsoft Office experience is a must). Hours are flexible, but candidate should be able to work at least 15 hours a week. Knowledge of basic HTML and interest in HIV/AIDS a plus.

Length of Internship:
A minimum of 12 weeks, with the possibility for renewal if the internship remains a good fit.

New York, NY

Payment:
This is a paid internship, with pay to be determined based on applicable experience.
