Media Organization: Inside Edition
In September 2012, CBS Television Distribution's Inside Edition begins its 25th season as television's longest-running, top-rated and most-honored syndicated newsmagazine, building upon a successful season in which the show made headlines, received industry accolades and, once again, ranked in the top 10 first-run syndicated programs, a distinction it has held for the past 24 years.
Anchored by veteran newswoman and two-time Emmy Award winner Deborah Norville since 1995, and backed by a dedicated, experienced team of broadcast journalists overseen by Executive Producer Charles Lachman, with Co-Executive Producer Esther Pessin, the daily newsmagazine has built its enduring success by presenting a compelling mix of hard-hitting investigations, exclusive newsmaker interviews and incisive human-interest stories, as well as celebrity and pop culture features.
Inside Edition is currently looking for students to participate in our fall 2012 internship program. As a production intern, daily duties involve: Making phone calls, story research, retrieving show ratings, tips, and viewer comments, assisting field crew and reporters on shoots, and hands-on involvement in the daily taping of Inside Edition. This is not a paid internship, however, we do offer a transportation stipend to all students.
