Job Description

Prevention.com is looking for two talented, quick, and clever fall interns (September – December) to work with the site’s editorial team. Duties include pitching and writing daily news items, writing newsletters, helping with social media (Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook), assisting the senior editors as needed in the day to day operation of the site, and bringing fun, smart ideas to our creative editorial meetings.

The ideal candidate has a passion for health, wellness, and mental health, and is a rising sophomore, junior, or senior interested in a career in journalism. Ideally, you’ve written for a student-run paper, magazine or website, done an editorial internship in the past, and have a passion for online media and social media.

Applicants must receive college credit for the internship, and the position is 2 – 3 days (minimum 15 hours) a week, unpaid, in the magazine’s New York City office.
