Pro Player Insiders is a media outlet built in partnership with the NFL Players Association taking advantage of the increasing demand for player access and information. Our distinguishing asset is access to NFL players and holistic approach to telling their stories. ProPlayerInsiders capitalizes on that access through three main channels: player-based media content, live interaction with players through contests and events, and online interaction with players through social media and gaming.

In the time since launching ProPlayerInsiders.com in late March 2011 the site has continued to grow from the perspective of content production, online influence, and reach. Our unique content is provided by staff and adjunct journalism professionals, numerous current and former NFL players, and sports enthusiasts. Our site is often referenced and retweeted by the likes of the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, USA Today and NBC sports.

We utilize social media and traditional media to promote and market our content and grow our brand recognition. We host or attend numerous events including draft, rookie premiere, super bowl, games and individual player events. For our internships we strive to provide students with a one-of-a kind opportunity to learn about the business of sports, media, marketing and of course network with players and other media professionals.

Job Description

Seeking a writer to produce and contribute content related to professional sports both on and off field. Opportunities for standard facts/figures content as well as those related to music, food, arts, charity, and other off field topics.

Other possible duties to include:
• Writing and research articles
• Create new editorial ideas
• Conduct player interviews
• Utilize social media tools to market and promote brand and content

Experience using WordPress software preferred
