Job Description

Americanlawyer.com seeks a part-time reporter for our daily online news operation covering the business of law as practiced by the largest, most profitable U.S. and international law firms. The position is based in New York and pays $10 an hour for 24 hours a week to be divided across three or four days depending on availability. The reporter's primary responsibility will be to produce our popular, twice-weekly Churn column about lateral partner movement among the law firms we cover. There will also be ample opportunities to report and write daily news stories, as well as in-depth enterprise stories. Strong reporting and writing skills are a must, as are the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks.
