Job Description

Astrobiology Magazine is seeking reporting, research and multimedia interns for the Fall.

Interns will contribute to research for our news site and investigations and may earn bylines on smaller stories. Honorariums will be paid per story.

Traning in science journalism and HTML coding is a plus.

Tasks include:
* Conduct interviews with scientists to verify press releases and to create news stories.

* Curate press release sources for potential breaking news coverage.

* Research and identify archival video footage to be used in support of the digital storytelling module on climate change.

* Perform light video editing, this should preferably be someone with some science background.
