Job Description

Money, the nation’s largest personal finance magazine, is seeking a full-time freelance fact-checker on a project basis, starting ASAP through December 20. The majority (70%) of this position will be fact-checking for our investor's guide double issue.

The other 30% of the job will involve reporting for the issue, which may include finding real people anecdotes for features, creating graphics from data, and helping senior writers with background reporting.

Pay is $16.88 per hour—with the potential for overtime.

Financial journalism experience (classwork or internship) and fact-checking experience required.
