Job Description

Artspace Magazine is looking for a smart, motivated, and resourceful intern to work with the editorial staff at an online-only publication, which aims to provide access to and an understanding of the art world to collectors. 


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and above all familiar with and comfortable writing about contemporary art. Applicants with a combination of art history backgrounds and some level of journalistic experience are very much encouraged.  


Tasks are evenly divided between assisting with research on such issues as artist biography and exhibition history and writing profiles, criticism, and event reporting for publication under your own byline. This position calls for two days a week in the Artspace office and will offer plentiful opportunities to be published on the site.
