Job Description

Us Weekly is looking for qualified individuals to intern in the editorial department of the magazine's New York headquarters for the Spring semester. Candidates must be highly-motivated, organized, upbeat and responsible individuals with a genuine passion for entertainment/celebrity news and pop culture. The internship program lasts 13 weeks max., and interns are expected to work a minimum of two full days in the office (no telecommuting).

Some duties that will be expected of interns include: conducting phone interviews, transcribing taped interviews, conducting man-on-the street polling, researching, covering red carpet events and press junkets/conferences on behalf of the magazine, taking notes on celebrity TV appearances, and some routine office duties.

Internship is paid, and school credit is optional.
