Straus News also publishes Dirt, a magazine covering the local green scene.

Our newspapers and websites focus on local issues that matter to people's everyday lives, from concerns about schools and infrastructure spending to who's who in town and soccer scores. If you’re a sensational photographer, strong writer, passionate about local arts and culture and have a great ear for a story, Straus Media-Manhattan needs you. We publish The West Side Spirit, Our Town, Our Town Downtown, The Westsider and The Chelsea Clinton News, weekly neighborhood newspapers.

We’re looking to fill a newly created position for a talented professional with a keen photographic eye, great journalism skills and an ability to go out and find the story. Knowledge of Manhattan required. You’ll get to work with a terrific group of professionals. Competitive salary plus benefits.
