Job Description

SAVEUR is looking for Digital Editorial Interns for March–June and May–August 2014. Interns become intimate with all aspects of web production and content development. Interns should have an inherent understanding of blogs and content websites, and the role they play in people's lives through both desktop and mobile channels. An interest in food, cooking, and travel are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and edit digital editorial content
Produce articles, collections, recipes, and galleries
Brainstorm compelling seasonal content
Research and compile product and recipe roundups
Write and edit content for syndications and partnerships
Craft compelling, engaging content for Saveur's various social media outlets

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of and passion for food and cooking
Top-notch writing and editing skills
Prior knowledge of basic HTML/website backends is a plus
Love for online content, blogging, and the digital sphere
Comfort with Photoshop and Google Docs
Must be available three full days/week to work in our Midtown Manhattan office

Video and photo skills are a big plus. This internship is unpaid; course credit optional.
All SAVEUR interns have the opportunity to connect with well-known people in the culinary world, as well as to attend parties, tastings, and events.
