Job Description

Money Management Intelligence is seeking a reporter to assume primary responsibility for covering the pension industry’s continuing switch to defined-contribution pensions and how it affects the asset management industry. The reporter will be responsible for producing two stories per day for the website, as well as two front-page-quality stories a month for the print editions. Topics to be covered range from investment mandates to people moves and investment strategies.

A big emphasis is placed in data-driven and analytic stories. The reporter will be expected not just to report available mandates, but to also dig deeper into what is driving them and what is likely to drive them in the future.

The position requires strong source-development skills and the ability to provide consistent breaking news, as well as enterprise stories relevant to our readers. Social media and data visualization skills are a plus. A finance background is not required.
