Scripps Networks Interactive is The Leader in Lifestyle Media, a $2 billion company that continues to grow exponentially, building our power-house brands – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country - domestically and across the globe. Celebrating its 20th year, Scripps has built a foundation on its Core Values. Among them are Diversity, Work/Life Balance, Integrity and Humor, all of which are at the forefront of our day-to-day business and the backbone of our thriving culture.
Food.com, the web’s third largest food and cooking site (part of Scripps Networks Interactive), is looking for a summer intern to join our team. Interns will help with content creation, community/site management, editorial brainstorming, social media and more.
Ideally, you will work 20-40 hours a week in our Chelsea offices. Days are flexible. Summer interns begin 5/26/14.
• Be detail-oriented
• Be web-savvy
• Be a junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college/university
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
• Have previous internship experience, participation in college clubs/organizations or in-depth coursework in a related field
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
A sense of humor and a go-get-‘em attitude is a bonus. A love of food is helpful for the job. A cover letter about your mother’s cooking or all of the great restaurants you’ve tried is not.
This is a paid internship.
Application Deadline: 4/28/14 – applications received after this date will not be considered.
