E! Online is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player to join the E! Online team in New York.

The writer will discover, write and post stories that are driving the pop culture and social conversations, pitch ideas for news stories, galleries and features, and stay updated on everything not just celebrity, but pop culture.

He/she should have extensive knowledge of and a love for pop culture and entertainment, and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to write copy very quickly and efficiently a huge plus. The writer/editor will work as part of the EOL team to keep our site a must-visit destination.

Qualities/Expertise we looking for:
-Solid online news experience; strong writer with a voice; has an eye for best and most traffic-driving stories

-Ability to spot a hot-button story or a viral video

-Passionate about pop culture, familiar with all of the Web’s top news sites and blogs

-Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to respond to news as it happens

-Hard-working, dedicated and detail-oriented

-Clear and concise writer

-A stats junkie with a competitive streak and a desire to continue improving

-Very knowledgeable in social media and SEO and how they influence news production

-Interest and passion for pop culture and entertainment

-Team worker who can work well with others
