Job Description

We are seeking a college senior or graduate student to join our newsroom as an intern. Interns at Medical Daily are entrusted with both editorial and social media marketing responsibilities. You will be responsible for various social media tasks including managing the site’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+ accounts, as well as compiling data for marketing research.

You will also be given the opportunity to research and write news stories based on assignments developed by your editors and your own pitches. You will be working towards mostly daily deadlines; however, every intern will also have the opportunity to research and write at least one 3000+ word originally-reported feature story. Interns will also be able to pitch stories for Newsweek, the flagship IBT Media brand.
