Job Description

CNBC’s Strategic Content group is offering a Spring internship opportunity to journalism students interested in business news, both television and online.

The majority of the internship will be devoted to online (CNBC.com)—and generating clips that we hope will be helpful to an aspiring journalist as part of their portfolio when applying to jobs in the future—but there is also the opportunity to learn about television production.

The CNBC Strategic Content team is a cross-platform team that develops content for both on-air and online.

An internship can be a 2 days per week internship (preferably seven hour days) or for recent grads a 20-hour or a 40-hour internship. This is a paid internship, at the rate of $10/hour.

It is also important to note that CNBC is located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. NBC Universal does provide free shuttle service to and from multiple locations in Manhattan and Englewood Cliffs throughout the morning and afternoon/evening.

I will be interviewing candidates over the next two weeks and it would be great to know about any candidates from your university.

The Spring internship will run from early January to early May.

To Apply

Interested students and recent grads should apply directly via email to Eric Rosenbaum, CNBC Strategic Content Group editor.
