Job Description

The Continent, East Africa's newest business publication, is searching for current students or recent graduates who are interested in focusing on the region. We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to contribute to our magazine and website through research, interviews, story ideas, articles, and editing. Ideally, these contributors would be located in, planning to visit, or have a network in one or more of the following countries: Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somaliland, Somalia, Kenya,
Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.

These are unpaid Contributor positions, with the potential to turn into paid opportunities as the magazine grows. Hours of work and term lengths are flexible according to each applicant's individual situation. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious journalist eager to develop his or her portfolio and network. Qualified applicants will receive a great
deal of authority and the opportunity to participate in publication development.
