Job Description

Report and write stories for an exciting new digital media site that covers the emerging community capital and crowdfinance field. Contributors will produce stories and profiles about innovative new financial startups; social entrepreneurship; new ways of investing locally; leveling the playing field for women and minority entrepreneurs; crowdfunding developments; the entrepreneurial ecosystem (ie. accelerators and incubators); and other topics. You will work with an experienced editor to shape and craft stories. Knowledge of crowdfunding, financial tech and small business/entrepreneurship is helpful but not required. We are more interested in curiosity, good journalism skills and a passion for bringing important stories to light.
