Job Description

Looper is a pop-culture site looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals to join our team of freelance writers. Writers will pitch, research, and write articles for Looper.com, a growing pop culture site covering the realms of movies, television, and entertainment.

Writer duties include conceiving of engaging articles and pitching them to our editorial team, then researching and writing each article with a tight turnaround time. Ideal writers have strong verbal and written communication skills, a solid understanding of pop culture, and a solid portfolio of previously published works (online, in print, or both). We are looking for creative individuals who are self-sufficient and willing to learn. This position is work from home.

Looper offers competitive per-word rates and pays for accepted submissions, regardless of publication. Compensation will be based on previous experience and rates can be increased based on performance.
