Job Description

Paid Journalism Contributor Position for American Entrepreneurship Today
We seek student writers for an immediate paid contributor opportunities on our writing team. Students will work remotely on assignments and submit articles online to our New Jersey office, where our business editor will review them.

Our contributor program provides aspiring writers with a unique opportunity to hone their research, analytical and writing skills and benefit from a defined editorial review process.

Responsibilities

• Write short news and insight/ advice articles aimed at the entrepreneurial readership base
• Fact check, transcribe and conduct interviews
• Participate in developing content for our social media platforms
• Some on-site reporting

Qualifications/ Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal skills including strong fundamentals on grammar, spelling and syntax
• Coursework in writing
• Experience and/or interest in digital media helpful, but not required
• Self-starter and proven experience showing commitment to work and deadlines
• 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
• Interest in entrepreneurism and startups a plus
