Tabelog, Inc was founded by its parent company, Kakaku.com, in 2005 in Tokyo. Tabelog is the premier restaurant review site in Japan with more than 60 million users monthly. The New York website launched in March 2013. We are currently expanding our coverage across the US. The name Tabelog comes from the fusion of the Japanese word “taberu” (meaning “to eat”) and the term “blog.”

Job Description

Tabelog is seeking a contributor to write restaurant and food related blog articles. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Create 1500-2000 word blog articles on restaurant topics following instructions provided by senior editors and your own research.
- Curate photos for the above mentioned topic areas.
- Attend weekly editorial team meetings and pitch story ideas.
- Submit 5 articles weekly
This position is open immediately and pays $40/article.
