We are looking for a video journalist who's eager to get a start in the business, work hard, and learn a lot.
A big part of the job will be working directly on editing, using Final Cut X, the video series TheShortAnswer: wsj.com/TheShortAnswer.
Please watch several of the videos from this series if you think you might be interested.
This position would likely start as freelance.
This position is heavy on mentorship -- learning directly from an experienced video journalist and reporter. But you've got to love editing video, be ready to learn new graphics techniques, and be flexible in terms of hours.
