Company Description

We are creating a financial media platform focused on delivering overseas news content and investment opportunities to inform and inspire Chinese investors. Our Founders have worked in Finance, Academia and Media including: Blackstone, Morgan Stanley, Evercore, Bloomberg, Reuters, Credit Agricole, State Development Bank of China and NYU Faculty.

Job Description

The candidate must read and write fully fluent business Chinese.

The China Editor will run our Chinese language version of our site, including writing stories for internet and social media distribution (Wechat/Weibo). They will also lead the growth of the business on a day to day basis. Think of this as a hybrid journalist / business role like a young Ariana Huffington or Rupert Murdoch. Technology skills are also welcome as we have tech resources but the ability to code will help significantly as we develop our businesses.

We are a scrappy, no-attitude, no frills, no face time, no politics, no job too small or administrative, team oriented, unstructured and bootstrapped start-up.
