Job Description

O, The Oprah Magazine is seeking a hard-working, web-savvy and enthusiastic web intern to join our staff for the fall 2016 semester. This is a part-time, unpaid internship position. Duties will include production, photo research, market work, research for stories, social media, and brainstorming story ideas.
Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. They should be diligent managers of their own time and not afraid to ask questions. A passion for journalism and for women’s magazines in particular, as well as enthusiasm about exploring the many creative opportunities involved in web journalism, are essential. Writing experience and strong research skills are a must. Web experience is a plus, but not necessary. Additionally, a sense of humor and diverse interests are welcome.
