Since 1991, “Charlie Rose” has engaged America’s best thinkers, writers, politicians, athletes, entertainers, business leaders, scientists and other newsmakers in one-on-one interviews and roundtable discussions. The program is taped at Bloomberg LP’s headquarters in New York City and airs on PBS stations across the U.S. as well as during evening hours on Bloomberg Television around the world.

Job Description

This position will support the "Charlie Rose" show on all our digital platforms, focusing especially on social media, audience engagement, and new platforms. One of the most important responsibilities for this role is to stay connected to the news and communicate frequently with producers, so we are able to provide the most relevant material to viewers quickly.

Responsibilities:
--Coordinate with show producers and bring news judgment to promotional decisions.
--Maintain our current social media platforms and generate ideas on how we can develop.
--Conduct analytics research.
--Assist in daily site production.
--Edit video and audio for the web.
--Coordinate with syndication partners for promotion.
--Experience working with graphics and photo editing is a plus.

Primary skills include creativity, fluency with social media platforms and content management systems, high news metabolism, editorial judgment, and the willingness to learn new technologies as they adapt.
