Social Media Manager, WME|IMG Fashion Video Network, Made to Measure (M2M)

WME|IMG is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to help develop the brand voice and social media content for (OTT) digital fashion video network Made to Measure (M2M). They will be a key member of a small team that operates as a lean, internal startup focused on launching new over-the-top (OTT) digital video networks, including M2M (http://M2M.TV). This is a unique opportunity to work in an innovative space at the intersection of fashion and video.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating social content, developing the brand voice on our social platforms, and engaging with the audience by creating content specific for each platform— including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other emerging social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a background and comprehensive understanding of the fashion landscape, along with previous social media experience (previous experience with media sites and/or fashion brands is preferred). The Social Media Manager will have a knowledge of and experience with creating social media video.

The Social Media Manager will report to the Director of Audience Growth and collaborate with others on the team to develop campaigns that will build relationships, deepen brand engagement, and help to rapidly expand our audience. They will also work closely with influencers to create content, promote our social accounts and amplify our original content.

Responsibilities:
• Execute social media strategy to effectively present content (especially video) across relevant social media channels to build audience

• Create daily social content, including copy and assets, across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc. Must have a strong visual eye to help guide the design process and direction

• Brainstorm ideas and plan execution of social video, especially Facebook and Facebook Live

• Create the social content calendar, ensuring that the calendar ladders up to overall brand strategy and plans

• Help develop the brand voice, as well as improve the social media and audience growth strategy and tactics based on real-time data and feedback

• Foster conversations and leverage them to help build/manage communities and networks

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• A love and passion for the fashion industry and fashion storytelling

• Proficient understanding of how all social platforms work, especially social media video

• 1-2 years professional social media experience; proven success in building audiences for media sites and/or brands (especially fashion brands) through social media and digital content is preferred

• Education: 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
