Job Description

Demograf, a New York based digital media startup, is looking for a full-time copy editor to join our New York City newsroom.

The copy editor will be responsible for copy editing and proofreading multiple articles and social media posts daily, ensuring that our copy is error free. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and possess an exceptional grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related liberal arts field and two years experience copy editing at a publication.
