Casually Political is a New York-based multimedia platform with a simple goal in mind — to create a place for smart, casual conversation about the big issues that affect our generation.

Casually Political was launched in 2016 by former CBS New York reporter Esha Ray. Esha is an alum of New York University and a native of New Jersey.

Job Description

We're launching a new vertical on Casually Political and we want you to contribute!

"Campus Tab" will be a space for student writers, photographers, and videographers to share their unique views on the big issues that affect our society. We're looking for journalists who are passionate about politics and public affairs, and who want to shed a light on the political activism they see on campus.

Whether it's a short video piece, a photo essay or a 1,000-word analysis, everything is welcome. The ideal candidate would be willing to contribute on a bi-weekly basis (every two weeks) but we can be flexible based on your availability. We prefer contributors to come to us with pitches although our editors will assign stories occasionally.

This position is unpaid but a great opportunity to get your work published on a growing, multimedia platform.
